High Woods Country Park is managed by the Countryside Team which consists of:
- one Senior Countryside Ranger
- 3 Countryside Rangers
- 2 part time Education Officers
- one part time Visitor Centre Officer
- and casual Visitor Centre Assistants

High Woods Country Park Management Plan
The management plan for the country park focuses on ten key areas which include:
- improving facilities and services for visitors
- conserving wildlife and landscape
- increasing education and community involvement
The plan is a working document that covers the period 2021 to 2025, the associated action plan is produced on an annual basis. The action plan is basically an annual job list based on the longer-term management objectives set out in the management plan and routine cyclical work.

Green Flag Awards
High Woods Country Park has been awarded the Green Flag Award every year since 2004. High Woods has been awarded this due to the quality of its welcome, security, management, community involvement and marketing.

Customer satisfaction
We regularly carry out customer satisfaction surveys within the park. These surveys gauge the how visitors feel about the way we look after the park, cleanliness, accessibility, facilities provided and what they see as our strengths and weaknesses. Results are fed back into our management plan updates and action plans.

Tripadvisor certificate of excellence
The park received this award in June 2016. It is given to places that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on Tripadvisor.
To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence the park maintained an overall Tripadvisor rating of at least four out of five, had a minimum number of reviews and had been listed on Tripadvisor for at least 12 months.
