Household Items Drop-Off Service

We provide a service on Saturdays where you are able to drop off small loads of household items for us to take away. Find out when we will be in your area.

Saturday Collections
If you need to throw away a small amount of household items that aren't collected as part of our usual collections, we will collect these from different locations on specific Saturdays.
You can't throw away items that can be recycled but you can bring garden waste which will be composted.
We don't accept any of the following items:
- Large loads, fridges, freezers or other electrical goods – but you can book a special collection
- Hazardous waste such as asbestos, batteries, liquids or gas bottles – check Essex County Council's waste page for how to throw these away.
- Business waste – these can be arranged through our Business collections
